Roy’s Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical was founded in 1973 by Roy Dollendorf with a simple but powerful mission: to do the right thing and deliver customer care that went above and beyond. What started as a plumbing company quickly became a place where trust, quality, and family values guided every job. Roy passed on his passion to his young son Mike, who began tagging along on service calls at the age of eight. From those early experiences, Mike gained not just technical skills but also a deep understanding of how to treat customers with honesty and respect. Those formative years laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong dedication to the family business.

In 1983, the Dollendorf family faced an unimaginable loss when Roy passed away suddenly. Despite the hardship, Marsha, Roy’s wife, stepped in with remarkable strength—earning her Master Plumber’s license to keep the business alive. Mike, then just 17, adjusted his school schedule to begin working full-time, running service calls every afternoon. Together, they poured everything into keeping Roy’s dream alive, and over the years, the business grew into a true family operation. Today, multiple generations of Dollendorfs work side-by-side, serving the Buffalo community they’ve always called home with the same dedication and integrity that started it all.
